Leo F. McCullough passed away on April 17, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV
at the age of 78 with his loving family by his side. Those of you who met Mac may remember him as the nice old guy in the golf cart in the spring time. Mac and Helen had been coming to Shasta Lake for many years. They would stay from the first of May to mid June every year. Mac was always quick to greet new customers and welcome back old ones. He worked around the campground during his whole stay. When we told him he was supposed to be on vacation, he would reply that he was having a great time helping his family, in a place he loved! That was our Leo. If you have the privilege this year to stay in site 108 during Mac's usual time maybe send a toast his way. If you're curious, his name is the Mac written in the site's concrete pad. We will miss him very much and think of him often this Spring.
